The Lifting Operator Planning Course
As its name suggests the lifting operator planner is responsible for the planing and safe use of the plant in a construction environment. All of our training courses are to the standards set by CITB CPCS, thus ensuring you are qualified at the right standard for safe operation.
This NVQ is level 5 and tested to the specifiication set by city and guilds and CITB CPCS standards
Option Number One

Your Profile and Skills will be assessed to the standards set out by CITB CPCS.

A valid Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test in mandated.

Should have experience in piling operations.

Someone will need to provide witness testimonies completed by employer or supervisor

You will need to provide a record or proof of employment

You should provide record of education
-
Undertake the practical assessment which is timed and working to the relevent industry standards.

A professional discussion will take place with a qualified assessor and will be taped.
Option Number Two

A look at the individuals profile in order to conduct a skills Match

MEach student should have a minimum of 6 months experience

Experience of the plant that will be assessed

Health and safety knowledge

Witness testimonies completed by employer or supervisor

On site practical assessment (minimum of two observations in workplace)*.
*Non-achievement of practical assessment will result in assessor’s recommendations, such as re-take, training etc.
What is Required Prior to the Tests:
The following pre-requsits apply:

You should have completed a CITB Health, safety and environment (HS&E) test no more than two years before attending this course.

English is the language of the instructors therefore you must be able to speak it
Lifting Operations Planning NVQ
The controlling lifting operations planning is a high level qualification aimed at managers and supervisors. This is a level 5 qualification and is delivered and assessed to CPCS standards.
